This dish brings together the quality of our Chinese myTofu with the classic tortilla for a combination that is both delicious and good for you. It is a simple blend of Eastern and Western cuisine that everyone can appreciate.

Vegetables & Tofu:

  • 1 half white onion, finely chopped
  • 1 spring onion, finely chopped
  • 150 grams of green beans, cleaned and cut into small pieces
  • 200 grams of mushrooms, sliced
  • 200 grams of Chinese myTofu

Sauce:

  • 50 ml of soy sauce
  • 2 teaspoons ginger, finely chopped
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1 teaspoon Chinese Five Spice seasoning mix
  • 1 tablespoon of honey
  • 1 teaspoon sambal

Wraps:

  • 2 Large Wraps (62 grams)

How to prepare the Chinese myTofu Wrap.

Prepare the Vegetables: Start by caramelizing the onion, spring onion, green beans and mushrooms until soft.

Season the Tofu: In a separate pan, lightly fry the Chinese myTofu until golden brown on all sides. This not only improves the texture, but also allows it to properly absorb the flavors of the sauce.

Mix the Sauce: In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, ginger, sesame oil, Chinese five spice spice mix, honey and sambal. Pour this mixture over the vegetables and simmer briefly to make it extra flavorful.

Fill the Tortilla: Take the tortillas and fill them with the tofu, vegetables, and sauce. Then roll them up, cut them in half and serve warm, garnished with additional spring onion or sesame seeds.
