When it comes to tofu, most people think of tasteless blocks that need a lot of marinating and seasoning before they can be used in meals. However, at myTofu, we have developed a production process that results in a flavored tofu product without the need for any extra marinade or added seasoning!
Our unique production method
At myTofu, we use a unique production method to create our flavorful tofu. While we can’t disclose all the details, we can provide some insight into how we create our distinct flavors. Each flavor is infused with herbs, spices, and vegetables, which we call the “Flav-Bomb”. For instance, our Italiano flavor contains onions, paprika powder, salt, pepper, bell pepper, basilica, and many more ingredients. The Flav-Bomb is than infused into the blank tofu, which we produce in-house with organic soybeans from NL-Soja, resulting in a delicious tofu product.
Our flavoured tofu is ready to cook out of the package and done in only 6-8 minutes!
As we previously discussed, our tofu requires no additional seasoning or marinating prior to cooking. This means that myTofu can be cooked and ready to eat within just a few minutes! A few simple steps stand between you and a delicious, flavourful cooked meal of tofu. Firstly, remove your tofu from its packaging and cut it into small blocks. Heat a pan over medium-high heat and add a small amount of olive oil or butter. Once heated, add your myTofu flavored tofu to the pan and cook until all sides are golden brown. Enjoy!
